ARP 2.3 Urgent/Category 3 response

Geoff made this Freedom of Information request to North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust did not have the information requested.

Dear North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust,

I write in respect on the new ARP 2.3 programme which has now been adopted by all Ambulance NHS Trusts.
NHS England states that Category 3 details are labelled “Urgent” with an arrival standard of 120 minutes that should be met 90% of the time.

In view of that can you inform as to how you believe that that standard should be met.
By either:

• Emergency response using exemptions?
• Immediate response without exemption usage?
• Urgent response without exemption usage?
• Other? - Please give details.

Is that position:
• For the driver to determine?
• Trust Policy?
• Trust advisory position?
• Other? - Please give details.

Yours Faithfully,

G Sale

Dear Mr Sale,

In regards to your FOI request, we would advise you to direct your enquiry

I hope this helps.
