I am writing to request, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, that you please provide the following information on each deployment by HM Armed Forces to Cyprus between the 7th of October 2023 and the 20th of December 2024, inclusive:

1. The unit or units deployed.
2. The start date of the deployment.
3. The end date (if ongoing, the planned end date) of the deployment.
4. The location of the deployment (e.g. RAF Akrotiri).
5. The number of commissioned officers participating in the deployment.
6. The number of non-commissioned service personnel participating in the deployment.
7. The number of non-service personnel participating in the deployment.
8. The purpose/mission of the deployment (e.g. Operation TOSCA).

Please provide these data in a spreadsheet file to make it easier to analyse them. Thank you very much for your time and help.

Dear PJHQ J9 Secretariat,

Thank you for your correspondence dated 21 January 2025 regarding my FOI requests (references FOI2024/25143; FOI2024/25144; FOI2024/25145).

In response to your request for further clarification:
1. I am referring to information held on personnel who are temporarily deployed to Cyprus in support of operations.
2. Additionally, please include bullet 8 for all three requests (HM Armed Forces, the RAF, and the British Army): "The types and numbers of military vehicles and other military equipment used by the participating personnel for the deployment."
3. I would also like to amend the date range in my requests so that it covers deployments occurring between the 7th of October 2023 and the 19th of January 2025, inclusive.
