Dear FOI Enquiries,

I'm afraid this is not a terribly satisfactory reply - the response is long overdue, and no reason for this has been given. The information requested is, by it's nature, straightforward to obtain, being published in a single intranet location available to all BBC staff.

I shall therefore be writing to the ICO to raise the issue of the BBC willfully failing to comply with the Freedom of Information Act.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Williams

Dear FOI Enquiries,

You opened you reply with "thank you for your recent request".

However this request was not recent, it was from over two months ago. What is your explanation for such a delayed response to a request where the information was so trivially easy to retrieve?

Yours sincerely,

Mr Williams

Dear Mr Williams

Thank you for your email, below, which we received on 26 April.

The BBC receives a large number of FOIA requests each month and only have
a limited resource to address these requests. The BBC responds to over 90%
of requests within the statutory timeframe.

When requests are received by the BBC, we have to follow a process for
each request, it is not simply a case of retrieving the information and
providing it and unfortunately delays do happen for various reasons.

Yours sincerely
