Area specifications
Dear West Sussex County Council,
Hope you are well and had a lovely weekend. Is it possible to obtain information on the below datapoints, for any sample area of your choice?
- Local ground conditions i.e. soil texture, soil group, soil thickness, groundwater conditins, soil conditions/contamination, make up for foundations etc.
- Flooding information/flood risk
- Knowledge of any new build developments being built or in the planning system within a 3 mile radius.
- Local school details i.e. quality of school
- Ecology/local habitats i.e. slow worms, bats, badgers, great crested newts etc.
If it's easier and more convenient, should I provide you with a postcode?
Yours faithfully,
Sim Rai
Dear Mr/Ms Rai,
Thank you for your enquiry, which has been forwarded to the appropriate officers for a response. The usual timescale for a response is twenty working days, that is by or on 05 December 2016.
If for any reason the Council needs to extend this timescale you will be notified in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Please note that in 2012 the County Council adopted a position in principle that FoI and EIR requests to West Sussex County Council and the Council's responses may be published on the Council's website in a suitably anonymised form. This is in addition to the individual response to the requestor, and in line with the Council's commitment to transparency and open data.
Yours sincerely,
