Are children the property of the government?

Straw Man made this Freedom of Information request to Rugby Borough Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Rugby Borough Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Rugby Borough Council,

I have been told that, just like items like your car, us “humans” are also the property of the government. This contract is made when parents register their child at birth and obtain a birth certificate.

This short video may explain more.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ME7K6P7h...

1. I would like to know how many parents registered their children and obtained a birth certificate within your local authority’s area? Please supply data for the last three years, data per year.
1a) How many of these children were known to social services?

2. I would like to know how many parents DID NOT register their children and DID NOT obtain a birth certificate within your local authority’s area? Please supply data for the last three years, data per year.
2a) How many of these children were known to social services?

3. What is the policy, procedure and law for registering a child at birth?

4. How many times have you prosecuted or assisted in prosecuting a parent or parents not registering a child within guidelines of Q3?

5. Is it true social services cannot intervene, remove, or adopt (normally forcibly) a child that is not registered for birth?

6. How many children have you (the Council) had to return back to parents where they were taken by social services but then had to be returned to parents due to the children not being registered for birth or having a birth certificate?

Yours faithfully,

Straw Man
