Freedom of information request - FOI/7226

Subject: Archiving solution

Your request is being considered and you will receive a response within
the statutory timescale of 20 working days, subject to the application of
any exemptions. Where consideration is being given to exemptions the 20
working day timescale may be extended to a period considered reasonable
depending on the nature and circumstances of your request. In such cases
you will be notified and, where possible, a revised time-scale will be

Further to your request received on 20/03/2023, I confirm that the Council
has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. For ease of reference, I will now address each of your questions in
turn.

I understand that the council currently uses the Liquidlogic social care
IT system. Prior to implementing this system, data would have been held in
a legacy system. 

1. Do you have any software systems/databases that are running solely for
the purpose of retaining legacy data? i.e. they are not operational
systems any longer but are just data stores retained for the purposes of
data retention.

We are not running any systems solely for legacy Children's Social Care
Data.
 

2. Where the answer is yes, what is this system called and what are the
licence and support costs from the vendor.

Therefore there are no relevant costs.
