Approval to lay HV Cables in Cuba Street
Dear Tower Hamlets Borough Council,
This is a request for information from Highways.
In October 2022 Cuba Street was cordoned off near to West India Pier for UKPN to lay a High Voltage power cable along Cuba Street and cross the Thames Path to the flood defence wall. The reference/permit number on the signage was: EC40059920539, and the work was due to be completed by 14th October.
Please can Highways provide copies all correspondence, permits and any associated drawings/plans for this work to take place?
What works did Highways permit to be carried out?
Do the drawings identify where the Tower Hamlets land ownership boundary is? If so please provide these drawings/plans.
Did Tower Hamlets advise UKPN that other landowners will be required to be contacted for works beyond the Tower Hamlets land ownership boundary?
Yours faithfully,
Ralph Hardwick
