Appointment of members to the Office for Students Board
Dear Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments,
In reference to the recent appointment of members to the Board of the Office for Students, announced on 1st January 2018, I'd like to request the following information:
1) How many people applied to be a member of the Board?
2) How many people were shortlisted for interview?
3) How many names were passed to the Education Secretary for consideration?
4) What was the selection criteria used to choose which candidates were shortlisted?
5) What was the selection criteria used to choose which candidates were appointed as members?
6) What checks and balances were used to ensure the recruitment process was carried out with in accordance with the Governance Code on Public Appointments?

As you will see OCPA does not hold any recorded information and so you may
