Applying to Medicine after withdrawing from a UK medicine course
Dear King's College London,
I would like to make a request regarding statistics for the medicine UCAS cycle. Please can you answer these questions to help me with my application.
1. Have applicants for the MBBS5 and Graduate entry Medicine ever achieved a place at King's College after previously withdrawing from a medicine course?
2. If so, how many applicants between the 2015-2020
Yours faithfully,
Helen

Dear Roche, Jade,
Would it be possible to know how you view UCAS applications for graduate students applying for the A100 and A102 MBBSS course in order to obtain an interview? (I.e. do you looks at grades first or UCAT)
Yours sincerely,
ellas pare
Dear Ellas,
• For A100, (of those that meet the entry requirements) applications received are ranked according to their UKCAT score (average score and SJT band) compared to other applicants, with improvement given for GCSE results (number of A*s) and School performance as well as an improvement on ranking if considered a Widening Participation applicant. Generally, UKCAT score accounts for 50% of the ranking, GCSE Individual and School performance 40% and other widening participation factors 10%.
• For A102, (of those that meet the entry requirements) applications received are ranked according to their UKCAT score (average score and SJT band) compared to other applicants.
Kind regards
Jade Roche

Dear Roche, Jade,
For graduated applying for the A100 Medicine programme, do we get ranked 50% UCAT and 40% based on GCSE grades or do our degree results and A-levels results also contribute?
Yours sincerely,
ellas pare
Dear Ellas
The ranking method is the same for all applicants including graduates, so A-Level and Degree results will not contribute.
Kind regards
Jade Roche
