Applications for a stay

The request was successful.

Dear Architects Registration Board,

Your website includes information outlining when you will agree to a stay in an investigation. When was this added to the website and why?

Your information then states: "There may be a case for a regulator to put an investigation on hold voluntarily until the outcome of any civil proceedings is known. The civil litigation might be more likely to arrive at the truth than the regulatory proceedings, because the court has more power to order disclosure or to hear evidence under oath." On what basis do you make this distinction and where is it published?

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Szilva

Dear Architects Registration Board,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Architects Registration Board's handling of my FOI request 'Applications for a stay'.

[ The response is long overdue and no reply appears to have been made ]

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

Dear Mr Szilva

Thank you for your email.

Your initial request for information was responded to on 23 August 2013
(copy attached). I am therefore unclear as to your basis for an internal
review of the handling of your FOI request, although it may be because of
the particular format of the website through which you made your request.

Please let me know if you have any other concerns.

Yours sincerely
