Application to Join the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) as an 'Approved Provider'
Dear Northumbria University,
I understand that the University has made application to become and 'approved' provider of training for non surgical cosmetic training to the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP), which is a non mandatory register and has no legislation to support it.
Please could you provide answers to the following g questions: -
1. Can you explain why the University would specifically make application to join a non mandatory register where there is no legislation?
2. Can you provide me with the copies of the documented evidence of your application, who applied for it, what did it cost and when any assessment took place and by whom.
3. What relationship does Dr Anne McNall have to the University of Northumbria and was this taken into account as part of any due diligence prior to or after application and approval to ensure there has been no conflict of interest, as Dr Anne McNall is listed as a Director of the JCCP
4. Please provide the specific audit trail from commencement of application through to approval, including the costs incurred, copies of invoices and payments made to the JCCP for the assessment and approval process.
I will remind you that you have a specific period of time to respond to this application and failure to do so will result in a formal complaint to the Information Commissioner.
Yours faithfully,
Laurence Jackson
