Application statistics for mature applicants to Mathematics (G100)
Dear University of Cambridge,
I am writing to request statistics regarding mature applicants to the G100 course, for the 2014-2020 rounds.
I would like the following data, arranged ideally as in the denoted sections.
FIRST SECTION: table with rows, one for each applicant. In each row, please include:
- dummy applicant identifier
- year of admissions round
- STEP grades achieved PRE-application
- Qualifications applied with (ie. A-levels, IB, etc.)
- College applied to
- Offer made or not, specifying whether the offer was from the winter pool or not (and if possible, the college that picked them up)
SECOND SECTION: table with rows, separated by year of admissions round, showing the number of people of a certain age that had applied (ie. 2014: [age: 49, number of applicants: 5] and so on)
THIRD SECTION: table with rows, showing a breakdown of how many of the applicants each year applied to each of the colleges. (ie. 2017: [Queens': 9, Trinity: 11, Girton: 20])
If this is too much for one document, please feel free to do it as is most convenient.
Lastly, if anything risks identification of applicants, please include it separately not along with dummy applicant information in a row.
Yours faithfully,
Maggie Warburton
