Dear Mr Alam,
Your request was received on 9 February 2024 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’).
You asked for:
1) the percentage of people applying to biological natural sciences, with chemistry A level (for
any year of entry from the last 1 to 5 years)
2) the number of applicants who were successfully admitted to bionatsci with chemistry A level.
(Again, for the Same entry year as 1))
3) wether not having chemistry A level posed as a disadvantage to applicants, in the application
process.
