Applicant statistics for entry to medicine
Dear King's College London,
I am contacting you today as I am hoping to apply for the A102 Graduate Entry medicine course. As part of my research I'm hoping to find out some of the statistics regarding how candidates are selected for interview and also how competitive entry to the course is.
I would be very grateful if you could provide the following information for the 2020 entry application cycle,
A] how many applicants were there
B] how many applicants were invited to interview
C] how many applicants received offers
D] the highest lowest and main UCAT scores of candidates invited to interview
E] the predicted or attained degree classification of candidates invited to interview
I would also like to know what your process is for deciding which candidates are invited to interview e.g. is it based purely on UCAT score or is it a combination of UCAT score and degree classification. Are personal statements used when deciding whether to offer applicants an interview or an offer.
Yours faithfully,
darcy north
