Dear Mervyn Murphy,

My apologies, i had assumed the request would be dealt with by the same officer as my previous requests

Please see my previous request that details the identity of the two officers mentioned and the period i require is since the purchase of the Apple Watch product

My previous request is detailed for the world to see here: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours sincerely,

Dade Murphy

Mervyn Murphy, Halton Borough Council

Dear Dade Murphy

I have consulted with the officer that dealt with your previous FOI request. Can confirm that the Council has not made any purchases from the Apple Apps store.

The Apple watches were purchased from the Apple Store at the standard retail price for the product.

Dear Mervyn Murphy,

My previous requests revealed these lavish purchases and I was informed that they were being used for development and testing apps, it is this that leads me to confusion, have the apple watch devices not been used? are they in their purchased state with no apps? has your council never bought an app from apple for any device? A purchase of no cost should also be revealed

Yours sincerely,

Dade Murphy

Mervyn Murphy, Halton Borough Council

Dear Mr Murphy - ICT Services purchased the watches to test apps that the Council is developing as opposed to using apps developed by others. The watches have been used but they are in their purchased state with no apps on them other than those that are being written and tested by the Council. The Council has not purchased any apps from Apple.

Dear Mervyn Murphy,

There appears to be conflicting information being given here, this concerns me

A previous response mentions testing apps available and yours is that apps are to be developed only not purchased, different stories

Yours sincerely,

Dade Murphy
