appendices to North West Legal Consortium Agreement
Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
Wirral Council had between 1st April 2010 and the 31st March 2014 a twenty-page contract referred to as the North West Legal Consortium Collaboration Agreement which details how it buys external legal services.
This FOI request is not for the contract itself, but appendices to it referred to in the contract as schedules.
Specifically this request is for schedule 2 (the Framework Agreements), schedule 3 (the solicitor firms), schedule 4 (the barrister chambers) and schedule 1 (the consortium authorities).
As the contract is not a current contract (as to my knowledge an option to extend the contract has not been exercised), the requester does not view commercial sensitivity as a reason for refusing this request.
Yours faithfully,
John Brace
Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'appendices to North West Legal Consortium Agreement'.
There is a legal requirement that FOI requests must be responded to within 20 days. This FOI request was not responded to within 20 days and in fact it has been a further fortnight since that deadline was passed. I am therefore requesting an internal review on the grounds that I did not receive a response to this request.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...
Yours faithfully,
John Brace

Pricing schedule is missing.
I made two identical requests made for same information, one to Sefton, one to Wirral, both on the 15th April 2014.
Sefton provided the information on 12th May 2014, Wirral ignored the request and only after an internal review provided it on 19th June 2014 with no apology for it being late.

It's best in politics to take anything personally (although as emotions can run high sometimes impossible). As you know I try my best.
FOI was discussed yesterday evening at the Cabinet meeting. I plan to write up what was discussed today on my blog.

Although Wirral Council haven't answered this request, I made an identical request to Sefton Borough Council who answered in full here https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a... .
