Dear Sefton Borough Council,

Sefton Borough Council had between 1st April 2010 and the 31st March 2014 a twenty-page contract referred to as the North West Legal Consortium Collaboration Agreement which details how it buys external legal services.

This FOI request is not for the contract itself, but appendices to it referred to in the contract as schedules.

Specifically this request is for schedule 2 (the Framework Agreements), schedule 3 (the solicitor firms), schedule 4 (the barrister chambers) and schedule 1 (the consortium authorities).

As the contract is not a current contract (as to my knowledge an option to extend the contract has not been exercised), the requester does not view commercial sensitivity as a reason for refusing this request.

Yours faithfully,

John Brace
