Dear South Wales Police,

I would like the following:-

What is the process for making complaints and then appeals against yourselves?

I have now had a response from Dorian Lloyd stating he has carried out my appeal against his own department ( Professional Standards).
This is against process and legislation as the IPCC are meant to carry out appeals as they are independent allegedly.

I want to know why PSD are carrying out appeals against themselves.

This will suffice for now.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Ritchie

Dear South Wales Police,

Yes and I read your complaints procedure and it does not state anywhere within it that PSD can carry out appeals against themselves.

I would like to see the recorded information that shows the Chief Superintendent of PSD can carry out appeals as it is not in your attachment.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Ritchie

Dear South Wales Police,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of South Wales Police's handling of my FOI request 'Appeals Process'.

Once again, you have failed to respond to my request so now you WILL conduct an internal review. I have now lodged another FOI request to you also.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

Yours faithfully,

Mark Ritchie
