Apology on POL Corporate Website

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Post Office Limited should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Post Office Limited,The POL apology states the following"We are deeply sorry for the suffering caused to so many people by Post Office’s past actions and acknowledge that victims of the scandal need answers, as well as justice and redress."To help provide answers would it not be helpful to accept people and not a place caused the suffering? In the 24 years this has been ongoing,5 years from the Common Issues Trial and 2 years of the Horizon Inquiry what people have the Post Office identified as being actively involved in causing such harm? How many have been absolved of any guilt or share in the Scandal?Does the fact that many key people still remain employed by POL mean they have been assesed and the behaviour is above reproach? In short what investigation did the Post Office undertake to provide answers to who rather than what was responsible for the suffering?

Yours faithfully,

john o'sullivan

Dear information.rights,Thank you for a reply.Surely the question of what Nick Read is going to say to the Horizon Inquiry is a request for recorded information? In a spirit of already earned financial bonuses and in order to help its victims understand explaining why Post Office is happy to still employ Nick Beal,Rodric Williams and others would be very helpful.Or does the Post Office view of cooperating closely not include volunteering information but wait to explain what the Inquiry might uncover?

Yours sincerely,

john o'sullivan
