AOSB criteria
Dear British Army,
Please provide the detailed selection criteria and pre-set standard that the Army Officer Selection Board assesses candidates against at Main Board.
Please also provide the scores required at the Psychometric/Mental Aptitude Testing phase for a candidate to be deemed below average, average or above average in the Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning tests. Is emphasis placed on answering all questions, or is accuracy preferred?
How is Intellectual Potential and Practical Application of Intellect assessed?
I am requesting this under the freedom of information act.
Yours faithfully,
Kevin

Dear British Army,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of British Army's handling of my FOI request 'AOSB criteria'.
Please review this decision, as I believe the exemption has been applied wrongly. Note that I am not requesting personal information.
With reference to the question, “Please provide the detailed selection criteria and
pre-set standard that the Army Officer Selection Board assesses candidates against at Main
Board”, I do not believe all the information has been provided. There would surely be some sort of checklist which assessors use.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...
Yours faithfully,
Kevin
Dear Mr John,
Thank you for your email dated 20th June 2023 requesting an internal review into the handling of the above referenced enquiry.
The Department's target for completing internal reviews is 20 working days from date of receipt and we therefore aim to complete the review and respond to you by 19th July 2023.
While we are working hard to achieve this, in the interests of providing you with a realistic indication of when you should expect a response, the majority are currently taking between 20 and 40 working days to complete.
The review will involve an independent assessment of the handling of this request and the outcome.
Yours sincerely,
MOD Information Rights Compliance Team
Dear CIO-FOI-IR (MULTIUSER),
You have failed to provide me a response, and it has passed well over 40 working days. I have now passed this onto the ICO to investigate this case.
Yours sincerely,
Kevin
