Anti Trafficking re Prostitution Operation 12 November 2014

The request was refused by Bedfordshire Police.

Dear Bedfordshire Police,

It was reported in the media that Bedfordshire Police rescued six women and a child following anti trafficking raids in connection with prostitution carried out in Luton on 12 November 2014.

I would like to request the following information:

a) Did any potential victims of trafficking into prostitution identified as a result of this operation receive a positive conclusive decision from the NRM, and if so how many?
b) Have there been any successful prosecutions for trafficking into prostitution as a result of this operation or are there any prosecutions for trafficking pending?
c) Have there been any successful prosecutions for brothel keeping as a result of this operation or are there any prosecutions for brothel keeping pending?

Yours faithfully,

S R James
