Anti-Social behaviour in car parks in Northumberland National Park

Brooke Westcott made this Freedom of Information request to Northumberland National Park Authority

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Northumberland National Park Authority,

1.How many complaints about anti-social behaviour in the National Park's car parks were received from 1.1.2015 until today's date?

2. Please provide copies of any complaints during this time period which relate to anti-social behaviour in car parks by a driver which match any of these details:

*- a black Ford Focus
*- with a registration plate marked 'Arnold Clark'
*- number plate from last two years.

3. Please provide all complaints relating to Steel Rigg National Park Car Park on 31 January 2016.

I am particularly interested about incidents nearer to the Hexham side of the National Park, which I suspect is the area this individual is active. For the avoidance of doubt please do not limit the record search solely to complaints about dogging, but also include other offences such as vandalism, theft and abuse.

Yours faithfully,

Brooke Westcott

Dear Brooke

Re: FOI 131 2016-01-31

Northumberland National Park Authority hold no official records of criminal or anti-social behaviour within Northumberland National Park. You should enquire of Northumbria Police.

Our Interim Head of Operations has also made enquiries internally. Here is his response:

"Field staff have not received any complaints about anti-social behaviour in the National Park car parks in the period identified. In addition I have been informed that we have had very few incidents of vandalism last year and anti-social behaviour tends to be limited to littering thus not reported, just dealt with.

"We are not aware of a spate of thefts and any such incidents tend to be reported directly to the police."

I hope this answers your enquiry.

Regards
