Dear Ingleby Barwick Town Council,

Please can you provide copies of all correspondence / documentation / emails / minutes / letters / reports etc between the town council and borough council / councillors / members of the public relating to the ANPR cameras that are installed/to be installed in Ingleby Barwick.

Please can you confirm the cost to the council, and the dates that the payment covers for installation and monitoring.

Please can you confirm when the cameras became active, and whether that includes the ANPR monitoring, or just CCTV recording.

If the payment for monitoring doesn't coincide with the dates the cameras were fully active, what steps have been taken to recovery any overpayment for services not provided.

Yours faithfully,

Jim McNeill

Dear Ingleby Barwick Town Council,

Thanks for the response. It seems you haven't covered the bit I asked about cost:
"If the payment for monitoring doesn't coincide with the dates the cameras were fully active, what steps have been taken to recovery any overpayment for services not provided."

To clarify, I am asking whether a pro-rata amount of the cost will be challenged with SBC due to:
1. System being installed later than originally stated.
2. The system not operating as intended. I.E SBC not providing ANPR monitoring - which was the entire point of the system.

Yours sincerely,

Jim McNeill

Ingleby Barwick Town Council

Thank you, you will note that the cost did indicate a payment for monitoring from July - March which is when the cameras were installed and operational from. The cameras are being monitored, ANPR is an additional function of the system but cannot be utilised without the correct signage. If the Town Council request that a pro rata payment be reimbursed for this function, then that will be persued.

Kind Regards,

Jo
