However, please note that 31.5% of all complaints received in the period
do not have a referral source in reportable format. To provide you with
accurate data, would require us to conduct a manual review of individual
fitness to practise cases to extract this information. Section 12 of the
FOIA makes provision for public authorities to refuse requests for
information where the cost of dealing with them would exceed the
appropriate cost limit, for the Health and Care Professions Council that
is £450. Staff time can be charged at £25 per hour, this equates to 18
hours before the limit is met. To provide you with accurate data would
exceed the appropriate cost limit under Section 12.

 

How many of these proceeded to a hearing with the person making the
complaint remaining anonymous?

 

None of these complaints has proceeded to an Investigating Committee Panel
Hearing or a Final Hearing yet.

 

Internal review

 

If you are unhappy with the way your request for information has been
