Anna Klonowski Report

The request was successful.

Dear Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please refer to the following link to a recent article in The Guardian:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2013/may/24...

This article refers to the recently published "damning" Anna Klonowski report into child grooming and exploitation, and the council's apology, due to its own failures.

I would trust that Rochdale Council, when commissioning AKA to carry out the report, did this in accordance with their own policy and procedure around external investigations.

I'd like to request three items:

1. Rochdale Council's external investigations policy

2. Rochdale Council's external investigations procedure

3. Confirmation that when the AKA investigation was commissioned, Rochdale Council had no undeclared PRIOR association or affiliation with AKA (Anna Klonowski's consultancy). This may be in the form of a statement given to satisfy the requirements of items 1 and 2 above.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Cardin

Dear Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council,

Just to make point 3 a bit clearer, I amend as follows:

3. Confirmation that after the AKA investigation was commissioned, the AKA consultancy had no undeclared PRIOR association or affiliation to Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council. This may be in the form of a statement given by AKA to satisfy the requirements of items 1 and 2 above.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Cardin
