Animal testing statistics for 2013
Dear University of Edinburgh,
On 17 February, you received an FOI request for information on animal testing at the university. In your response, you gave a breakdown of the species used in 2011 and 2012, and wrote that "[we are] currently unable to provide you with similar statistics for 2013 as the University is in the process of gathering and collating this information. We anticipate that this exercise will be complete by the end of April 2014."
Since we're nearing the end of April, I'd like to make a new request. How many animals were experimented on in 2013, broken down by species?
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
