Animal Testing
Dear University of Warwick,
I request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act, 2000.
I request to know if the Univeristy conducts experiments on living animals. If so, how many living animals are currently being held at the University of Warwick?
How many living animals were used in experiments between 01/01/2014 and 01/01/2015?
Please provide a breakdown of the living animals used in experiments between 01/01/2014 and 01/01/2015 by species.
Which departments conducted these experiments?
What types of experiments on living animals were conducted?
Were the experiments for medical research, non-medical research, or both?
Please provide a breakdown of the experiments (project licenses) by severity classification (unclassified, mild, moderate, substantial) as per the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act, 1986.
Yours faithfully,
Aleksander Goodier
