Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

Your online licence search https://licensing.wirral.gov.uk/MVM/Onli... shows that there are no Animal Licenses issued for any purpose by Wirral Council. As there are numerous types of business that should have an animal licence I believe the online search may be faulty or inactive.

Q1 If there are current Animal Licenses can you provide details of them please.

Q2 Can you confirm the online search for Animal Licenses will be corrected (if inaccurate) or removed (if inactive), as it stands it could be highly misleading.

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Craine

Dear Mr Craine

We write in response to your FOI request in which you asked:

Q1 If there are current Animal Licenses can you provide details of them
please.

Q2 Can you confirm the online search for Animal Licenses will be corrected
(if inaccurate) or removed (if inactive), as it stands it could be highly
misleading.

In response to Q1, please see the attached Excel spreadsheet listing all
of the current animal licences under The Animal Welfare (Licensing of
Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2020.

In relation to Q2, please note that due to a very recent upgrade to our
computer systems, this is an option we will look at in the future for
customer facing applications.  We do not have this application available
at this time.

Yours sincerely
