Andrew Smith MP question regarding Nominet

We're waiting for Mr A Bennett to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Department for Culture, Media and Sport,

On 16th October 2013 Andrew Smith MP asked the following question in Parliament:

"To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport if she will review the regulation of the process for domain names registration in the light of the dominant position held by Nominet".

1. A copy of all internal commucation reguarding the above question

2. A copy of all external communication about the above question (including between Nominet and Andrew Smith MP).

We have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(the Act) and are able to provide the information we hold that is within
scope of your request which is attached to this email. Please note that
some of the information has been redacted under section 40 (personal
information) of the Act. This is an absolute exemption, and as such, does
not require a public interest test.
