Dear Department for Transport,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Transport's handling of my FOI request 'Andrea Leadsom MP'.

It is inconceivable that responding to my request for information exceeds the cost limit as it was very specific and I'm sure Ms Leadsom was not that prolific in her correspondence. I would therefore like to request an internal review. It is interesting because I made the request to a number of other departments and each refused the request on the same grounds. I do hope there has been no central government meddling and you are following a three line whip. That would set a very dangerous precedence for freedom of information. I look forward to hearing from you and receiving the information I have requested. If you fail to comply with the request I will have no option but to take this to the Information Commissioner.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

Thank you for your kind assistance,

Valerie Belcher
