Dear Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs,

Following John Sweeney's report on BBC Newsnight tonight 'Where is Andrea Leadsom?', I would like to make a Freedom of Information request to see copies of all correspondence between Andrea Leadsom MP or her consituency staff and ministers or officials in your department which were sent and received during the 2016 calendar year.

I look forward to receiving your reply in 20 calendar days.

Yours truly

Valerie Belcher

Dear Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs's handling of my FOI request 'Andrea Leadsom MP'.

It is inconceivable that responding to my request for information exceeds the cost limit as it was very specific and I'm sure Ms Leadsom was not that prolific in her correspondence. I would therefore like to request an internal review. It is interesting because I made the request to a number of other departments and each refused the request on the same grounds. I do hope there has been no central government meddling and you are following a three line whip. That would set a very dangerous precedence for freedom of information. I look forward to hearing from you and receiving the information I have requested. If you fail to comply with the request I will have no option but to take this to the Information Commissioner.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

Yours faithfully,

Valerie Belcher
