An update on invertebrate surveys funded by the Royal Parks/Postcode Lottery Mission Invertebrate Project

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, The Royal Parks should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear The Royal Parks,

This request is a natural followup to a previous request (Your ref FOI 19/14).

Please provide a list of all survey projects carried out under the auspices of the Mission Invertebrate Project at the same level of detail as provided in response to the previous FOI of 30 July 2019, i.e. those projects conducted after July 2019 through to the end of the project in 2022.

Outputs: a table of projects carried out by date, with a second table showing total expenditure by park.

This should include bioblitzes etc as per the Covid-frustrated follow-up request of 6th March 2020.

[Like the July 2019 FOI request It need not include the cost of project overheads (e.g.employment costs, bespoke vehicles, administration fees), 'outreach' projects aimed at schoolchildren, or 'conservation gardening' (sheep grazing, pond dredging, orchard plantings) etc. but you can provide these too if you think it would provide a helpful perspective.]

Yours faithfully,

John Lock

Most of the information has been requested. Some is still outstanding and won't happen within the normal term of a FOI request.

Despite my making it clear that the objective was to identify spend by park NOT by sub project, TRP have combined some data across parks.
