Dear Defence Infrastructure Organisation,
Thank you for the dates you mentioned in your reply. You suggested that I approach the National Archives at Kew which I have done online. I cannot find any information referring to the building of the camps or any pictorial history. I am astonished that the MOD have no further account on the building of the camps - there must have been plans at the very least and how did they hire the workers that came via the temporary railway halt that was built especially to convey them to Barton Stacey. THERE MUST BE SOMETHING SOMEWHERE!!
