Thank you for your recent request for information which I have enclosed
below for ease of reference. Your request has been treated in accordance
with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and/or the Environmental
Information Regulations 2004.

I can confirm that we do not hold information that falls within the scope
of your request.

Could you please provide comprehensive figures on the annual monetary
spend to teaching agencies, for supply teaching and educational support
staff last year and this year?

This information is not recorded within the Local Authority Education
department, please note that the Freedom of Information Act requires
public authorities to provide recorded information held by an
organisation.  As such, the council is not obliged to provide information
that is not recorded or to give an opinion or judgement.

School budgets are delegated, this means that each school is responsible
for their own spend.  To obtain the information you would need to contact
the schools directly.  Here is a link listing all schools within the
Newport area.
