Dear Mr Brown,

Freedom of Information Request - Ref: FOI 0821

Thank you for your request received on 8th February 2017 in which you
asked for the following information from the City Council:

Number of service requests received by public phoning in that were issued
to street cleansing division of the council covering the last 2 years.
Please include the dates of these being issued also.

Your request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(FOIA).

Response

Please find attached a log of all service requests issued to street
cleansing.

Please note we do not systematically record how requests are first
received (telephone, email, face-to-face, etc), and as such are unable to
automatically report on this. The above document includes requests made by
all contact methods. In order to narrow down this information to just
requests received by phone, we would have to manually check each record,
and as there are over 9000 records, this would vastly exceed the cost/time
limit (£450/18 hours) as set out by the Freedom of Information
(Appropriate Limits and Fees) Regulations 2004.

If this response is unsatisfactory to you, please contact this office. For
details of how to appeal a decision we have made, see below.
