Amey automated announcements system used at many London Overground railway stations.

The request was successful.

Dear Transport for London,

It has previously been stated on multiple occasions that the Amey system currently used for the automated announcements and CIS at many London Overground stations is due to be replaced soon.

For example on this request here:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

You have stated the following:

"We have issued a tender to replace the Amey system."

However this was over eight months ago that you said this and there seems to have been no further updates regarding this. The current Amey system remains in use at a large number of stations. So i am wondering what has happened.

Under the FOIA can you please advise the following:

• Has the tender process you mentioned been completed and awarded yet?

• If so then who is the new supplier and when will the new system be installed?

• If not then when will the tender process be completed and awarded and what is causing the delay?

• Please provide any other information that you hold regarding this?

Thank you for the information and i hope to hear back soon.

Yours faithfully,

Barry Hayes
