Ambulance call outs on bonfire night in Hertfordshire

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust,

I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

1. The number of calls made to the ambulance service relating to incidents on bonfire night, 5th November, in the last three years across Hertfordshire

2. The number of ambulances dispatched to incidents following injuries on bonfire night 5th November in the last three years across Hertfordshire

Please could break down the calls and incidents in terms of towns/postcodes in Hertfordshire.

I would like to receive the information by email in word document table format. If one part of the request can be answered sooner than the others, please send that information first followed by any subsequent data. If you need further clarification please contact [email address]

If my request is denied in whole or in part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to a specific exemption of the act. I will also expect you to release all non-exempt material.

I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to receiving your response within 20 days as outlined by statute.

Yours faithfully,

Lizzie Ellis

FOI, East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Your request for information may be delayed due to urgent operational
responses to dealing with Public Health priorities. We apologise for any
inconvenience this may cause, we do remain committed to responding to your
request and will respond as soon as we are able. Should our response to
your request breach the statutory timeframe and you remain unhappy with
our response you have the right to complain to the Information
Commissioners Office and you can contact them
here [1]https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/your...

Thank you for your email. This acknowledgement has been triggered
electronically and means that your email has been received by the
Information Governance Department. Your request will be dealt with under
the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and it is our intention to respond to
you within twenty working days.

Please note that the volume of FoI requests received by this Trust now
exceeds available resources and given the need for all Trusts to reduce
corporate expenditure to within those targets set by the Carter Review, no
additional capacity is available to support our increasing workload.
Depending on the complexity and volume of your request, this context may
impact on our ability to respond to your request as soon as we would like.
