Please tell me:

-How many pupils were home-schooled using online tutoring paid for by the council between September 1 2017 and August 31 2018? How many of these children were primary school school age, and how many were secondary age?
-Please provide the same information (total number of pupils, broken down by primary/secondary) for the same period (Sept 1 - Aug 31) for each of these years: 2016/17, 2015/16, 2014/15 and 2013/14.
-How much was spent on providing this online tutoring? Please provide the figure in pounds for each of the school years listed above (2013/14 - 2017/18), broken down by school year.
-Please provide the name(s) of the organisation(s) providing the online tutoring for home-schooled children.

I refer to your Freedom of Information request in relation to home
schooled pupils.
Right of Access

Section 1(1) of the Act provides any person making a request for
information to a public authority is entitled.

(a) to be informed in writing by the public authority whether it holds
information of the description specified in the request (which Section
1(6) of the Act designates as the "duty to confirm or deny"), and

(b) if that is the case, to have that information communicated to him.

The right is to obtain access to the information itself and not to the
document or record which contains it.

The Act creates a general right of access to information held by public
authorities subject to various exemptions.

Northumberland County Council confirms that it holds the information you
have requested, please see the following information in response.

The LA does not provide funding for pupils who are home schooled. The
response to all is N/A.
