Allowed appeals procedures for non asylum cases

peppe kalle made this Freedom of Information request to UK Border Agency

Waiting for an internal review by UK Border Agency of their handling of this request.

From: peppe kalle

5 August 2011

Dear UK Border Agency,

Why does it take UKBA months to implement non asylum allowed
appeals?
What is the procedure once an appeal is allowed and UKBA have not
sought permission to appeal?

Yours faithfully,

peppe kalle

Dear UKBAIG VCS ROWA,

I am afraid my question has not been answered.I asked "Why does it
take UKBA months to implement non asylum allowed appeals"

I never asked anything about appeals progress or the appeals
process.

I wanted to know WHY it takes months to implement the appeal after
the judge allowed the appeal on immigration rules or article 8.

The other information i wanted to know WHAT is the procedure once a
non asylum appeal lets say appeal against removals is allowed for
example what happens when UKBA have been notified they lost the
appeal.

Can you please furnish me with details from the time you decide not
to contest the appeal till the time you issue status documents and
if possible the time scales for each action.

Yours sincerely,

peppe kalle

Quote-marks Yes, I have been wondering the same thing. I have been waiting for my daughter's passport - and her new visa -to be returned since early June 2011.
I think UKBA definitely owes all concerned (especially long-suffering tax-payers) an explanation. And UKBA needs to get its act together, just like everybody else.

Quote-marks It is now more than 2 months since Mr Kalle's very reasonable request. Why is UKBA dithering? Does the agency not have any procedures in place?
