4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in 2009? Please give:
a) number of new sites
b) names of new sites

d) total number of new plots
Yours faithfully,

Dear Margaret
Thank you for your email below. I can respond as follows:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the council area for which
the Council has access to waiting list data?
The allotments are run by independent allotment associations. The Council
does not have data on individual sites.
The individual associations may be able to provide you with the
information that you are seeking. Their contact details are contained in
the attached spread sheet.
2) What is the total number of plots on these sites?
The Council does not have this information (as per 1 above).
3) What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these
sites?
The Council does not have this information (as per 1 above).
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
This is a matter for the respective allotment associations.
5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in
2009? Please give:
a) number of new sites
b) names of new sites
c) total area of new land in hectares
d) total number of new plots
There were no new allotments sites brought into use in 2009. The Council
has provided a grant for the clearance of plots. This will provide about
20 plots during the current financial year.
Yours sincerely

I understand that City Council got rid of their Allotment Officer. He would have this information and it should be available from 'Parks and Gardens'.
I would like to find out where the 20 plots, that Council has given grant for, are.
Could Margaret contact me?
