As of January 2010, please could you tell me:

1) How many allotment sites are there in Stoke on Trent for which Stoke on Trent City Council has access to waiting list data?

2) What is the total number of plots on these sites?

3) What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these sites?

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in 2009? Please give:
a) number of new sites
b) names of new sites
c) total area of new land in hectares
d) total number of new plots

Your request for information on allotments

We have now considered your request for information and a copy of the
information is below.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council provided answers to questions 1 to 4 in a
response to you dated 21st January 2009 in relation to a previous request
from you. I have contacted the department that supplied the information
previously and they have confirmed that the information remains unchanged.

Please find the answers to question 5 of your request (not covered in your
previous request) below:

5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in 2009?
Please give:

a) number of new sites

None, however three previously closed sites are in the process of being
reopened (completion expected before easter 2010).

b) names of new sites

Previously closed sites - Fenpark Hilltop, Coney Grove and Withies Road.

c) total area of new land in hectares

Previously closed sites - 1.25 hectares.

d) total number of new plots

Previously closed sites - Approximately 65 plots, an average size 200 sq
metres.
