Dear Sir or Madam,
As of January 2009, please could you tell me:
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which the council has access to waiting list data?
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

information in respect of, amongst other things, how many allotment sites
are there in the Council area for which the council has access to the
waiting list.

allotment sites are there in the Council area for which the council has
access to the waiting list. We have considered your request under the
terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which the
council has access to waiting list data?
o 6 sites directly let by the Council
2) In total, how many plots are on these sites?
o Mickleham Way 6 full plots 18 half plots
o Hartley Down 50 full plots 62 half plots
o Mid Day Sun - 26 half plots
o Orchard Avenue 7 full plots 21 half plots
o Pampisford Road 31 full plots 109 half plots
o Sanderstead 24 full plots 40 half plots
3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?
o There are approximately 260 applicants on waiting lists
4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?
o As of January 2009 no waiting lists are closed for our direct let
sites
5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?
o 6 sites managed by the Council
o 9 sites leased from the Council (self managed)
o 2 sites in private ownership
