Margaret Campbell

Dear Sir or Madam,

As of January 2009, please could you tell me:

1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which the council has access to waiting list data?

2) In total, how many plots are on these sites ?

3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

Yours faithfully,

Margaret Campbell

Robinson, Gemma, Wychavon District Council

Dear Ms Campbell

Thank you for your request of 30th January 2009 and I apologise for the
delay in responding. Please note the change of e-mail address of the FoI
officer.

Please be advised that the District Council does not have jurisdiction
over allotment waiting lists and these are the responsibility of the
individual Parish and Town Councils. I have copied this FoI request to
the Town Clerks for Pershore, Evesham and Droitwich Town Councils so
that they may deal with the same.

Yours sincerely

Ann Dobbins,

Dear Ms Campbell,

I have been passed your request by Wychavon D.C. who do not operate
allotments.

Pershore Town Council has one allotment site with approximately 250
allotments (some half plots). We currently have 18 residents on the
waiting list and 15 non residents but residents take priority. Our waiting
list is still open.

I have no details of other allotment sites in Wychavon disrtict I am
afraid.

Best wishes,

Mrs Ann Dobbins A.C.I.B.

Pam Craney,

Dear Ms Campbell

In answer to your questions applicable to Droitwich Town Council's area
as at today's date of 6 March 2009:-

1 .There are four allotment sites - Copcut Park, Vines Lane, Chawson
Lane and Westwood Lodge.
2. There are a total of 97 plots over the four sites.
3. Each site has a separate waiting list and some people are all four
lists, others just three, two or one. A total of 115 individuals are on
the waiting lists at the moment, but 3 have been offered plots this week
which, if the plots are accepted, will bring it down to 112.
4. The lists are still open.
5. There are four allotment sites - Copcut Park, Vines Lane, Chawson
Lane and Westwood Lodge.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require additional
information.

Kind regards, Pam
