Dear Ms Woodland

I am writing in respect of your enquiry for information held by this
Authority received on 8 August 2018 and to confirm that we have completed
the search for the information that you requested.  The information you
have sought is set out below.

Alliance and Leicester is not the bank used by Dover District Council and
to the best of our knowledge the Council has never had any contracts with
this bank or aware of any policies relating to it. Your request is unclear
about the reference to Council Tax and NNDR, however some customers may
have paid these bills using an Alliance and Leicester account when the
bank was in operation. However if this  information was still held it
would be classed as personal data and therefore exempt from disclosure in
accordance with Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act.

If you have any queries about this email, please contact me.

I hope you find the information useful but if, for whatever reason, you
are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request
and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision, you are
entitled to pursue any dissatisfaction through the Council’s Complaints
Procedure.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
procedure provided by the Council.   The Information Commissioner can be
contacted at: The Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water
Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
