Jerin John, Office of Communications

Dear Mr Thompson,

It has come to our attention that the response to your Freedom of
Information request may have been open to misinterpretation.

To clarify matters, the following text should replace the sentence
“Amateur Radio repeater licences are issued by the Radio Society of Great
Britain.”.

The text should read: [The Radio Society of Great Britain (“RSGB”)
provides services to the hobby and checks applications for authorisations
to use Amateur Radio repeaters before they are submitted to Ofcom for a
decision. If the application is granted, the RSGB distributes the relevant
paper work”].

Kind regards,

Jerin John

Dear Jerin John,

I understood this.
I wouldn't have thought for one minute a book publishing company would be able to issue licences,

ok thank you, i will send a SAR to the RSGB if i can ever find an Email address for them.
Yours sincerely,

Mark Thompson
