Alleged fraud incidents 2018

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

I would like to request the number of incidents (reports of alleged fraud) received on your Fraud Referrals and Intervention Management System (FRAIMS) on 1 January 2018 to 31st December 2018. I would like the number separately for each date, and for the date to be the initial date that the incident was logged on FRAIMS. To be clear, a sample dataset could have every date in 2018 in the first column and the number of incidents that were first logged on to FRAIMS on that day in the second column. Please could you provide this in excel (or other spreadsheet) format.

Additionally, I understand that FRAIMS includes allegations from all available sources (including members of the public, and internal allegations). Do you hold records on whether the allegation was made internally or externally? If so, could you also provide the same dataset as above, including only incidents which came from members of the public.

Yours faithfully,
Emily Silcock
