Allegations team - third party reporting

The request was successful.

Dear Metropolitan Police Service (MPS),

Recently, the number of days for third party reports with evidence of traffic incidents on the Single Sign on system has recently changed from 10 days to 7 days. Can you confirm what happens if an allegation with evidence is submitted after 8 days rather than within 7 days. Is it still reviewed or is it completely disregarded?

Until recently the guidance was 10 days so this is a significant reduction in time to report incidents.

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Khan

Metropolitan Police Service (MPS)
