Dear Home Office,

I hope this finds you well. I am writing to request information relating to allegations of violations of immigration law received from members of the public. I'm aware that data for such allegations relating to the period since 2014 is publicly available on the internet as part of the Home Office's Migration Transparency Data set. However, I am seeking figures relating to the period between 2007 and 2012, i.e. prior to the creation of the Intelligence Management System.

Please supply figures, whether quarterly, annual or otherwise, for the number of allegations of immigration violations received by the Home Office over the aforementioned period. Please confirm in your response whether the figures relate only to allegations received from members of the public, or include internal referrals from within the Home Office.
