Dear Jacqui A. Spurgeon,

On behalf of the Addington Residents Association we are still awaiting Croydon Council's response, now well overdue.

We have received a letter from the CEO of the Council who is, unfortunately, ill informed.

For example, reference is made to a Public Hearing regarding a Peartree Farm Planning Appeal. This Hearing never took place because it was withdrawn at the request of the Council's Planning Department.

This lack of awareness of the events in the Council's dealing with Peartree Farm well illustrates the reasons for our request for the disclosure of all Croydon Council Planning Department's dealings with Peartree Farm and their advisers.

Please confirm when this will be forthcoming.

Regards,

P Jarman. (Acting Chairman, Addington Residents Association)

Yours sincerely,

Peter Jarman

Been checking Land Registry, Planning applications, registered businesses, operating businesses etc from the PTF site.
It seems they own the land either side of the track but NOT that adjacent to the woods where the Waste Transfer Station and Alphaglaze are located.
The use this part of the Green Belt is located is appalling, to which local (council) gand central government are complicit as the site forms part of the South London Waste Partnership as a Waste Transfer Station.
It seems to be that the site is right on the South of the Borough border with Tandridge, so effectively out of site and out of mind.
I do wonder whether Tandridge is complicit in this too !!
Now Factory Lane is fully operational there is no longer any LOCAL need for the PTF WTS, nor for ongoing business operations of any sort, few of which seem correctly licensed.
I'vve even checked Vehicle Operator Licenses, you'd be appalled the number that list PTF as their operational base !!
I've suggested that CC FULLY investigate the site.
