Dear Swindon Borough Council,

I would like all documents relating to the decision to build a skate board park by Saltway Fields application S/13/0269

In particular I want to see documents showing the reasons why the following locations were rejected:

Sparcells open space
Peatmoor Community Forest
Gainsborough Way closed play area
Shaw Ridge open space
The Link Centre

I would also like minutes of all meetings thta have taken place between Nick Martin, with Martin Hambidge, Caroline Hunt or Richard Bell to discuss the location.

I requested this information on the 28th March.

Thank you for your e-mail letter dated 18th April 2013 received in our office on 19th April 2013, (details shown below).

I enclose for your attention, the following information.

The only documents held by Swindon Borough Council in relation to the decision to build a skate board park by Saltway Fields application number S/13/0269, are the West Swindon Forum and Locality West Meeting Minutes dated 12th March 2012, 9th July 2012, 10th September 2012, 12th November 2012 and 11th March 2013. I have attached the minutes of these meetings for your information.

The other locations referred to in your request were considered informally as part of initial discussions held by officers in the Streetsmart Department and a Councillor. No written records of these discussions are held.

Similarly there are no additional minutes held of any other meetings which may have taken place between Councillor Nick Martin and Council officers Martin Hambridge, Caroline Hunt or Richard Bell to discuss the location.
